Sacramental Prep

Classes are to prepare children for the Sacraments or Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. All classes are taught by Father Jarvis.

Registration is open to children of parishioners at Christ the King or Sacred Heart who are baptized and will be at least 7 years old at the time of receiving the Sacraments. **Readiness of the children to receive the Sacraments will be at the discretion of the child’s parents and assessed by Father Jarvis. **

1. There will be six mandatory classes. There are no make up dates, so please note the class dates and make every effort possible to attend each class.
2. Classes are taught by Father Jarvis followed by a group application activity.
3. Materials we use: The Baltimore Catechism, the textbook, Our Life with Jesus, and The Glory of God by Maria J. Bain.
